UbiTools Overview
UbiTools is the compute layer of the UniBio Intelligence platform. It packages best-in-class antibody and protein engineering models behind a consistent interface, exposed as an MCP server at https://mcp.tools.unibiointelligence.com/mcp.
What it can do
| Capability | Models |
|---|---|
| Antibody numbering and CDR identification | AbNumber (IMGT, Kabat, Chothia, Martin) |
| Antibody humanization | BioPhi (Sapiens, germline grafting) |
| Antibody and nanobody structure prediction | ImmuneBuilder, ABodyBuilder3 |
| Antibody inverse folding | AntiFold |
| Antibody CDR design and affinity optimization | dyMEAN |
| Antibody developability assessment | DeepViscosity, Aggrescan3D, AbNumber humanness |
| General protein structure design | RFdiffusion, Genie3 |
| Protein binder design | BoltzGen, RFantibody |
| Sequence design from backbone | ProteinMPNN |
| Antibody database search | KASearch (Observed Antibody Space) |
| Protein embeddings | AbLang2, SaProt |
Authentication
UbiTools requires authentication. MCP clients handle the OAuth consent flow automatically on first connect. See Connect UbiTools to an MCP client.
Job lifecycle
Most UbiTools operations are long-running. Tools block until completion and return final results — there is no separate polling step at the MCP layer. Expect runtimes from a few seconds (numbering, CDR identification) to several minutes (BoltzGen binder design, RFdiffusion).
Results are retained for 7 days, then deleted.
